Mountain Lakes RV Resort is part of Ocean Canyon Resorts. It is located on the shores of Guntersville Lake, a huge lake with boating and fishing. There are three fishing piers, and pavilions for picnics. They offer hundreds of sites, both 30amp and 50amp, rental cabins, lake homes, and condos. There is also a game room, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, mini golf, an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor heated swimming pool. There is a huge clubhouse with lots of activities. They have a small fenced pet area with a playground next to it. 
This large lakefront resort has over one-half mile of lake shoreline on one of the most pristine lakes in Alabama, and boasts some of the best fishing in the state. With its own wet storage and boat slips for members, you can rest assured you'll have easy access to the lake. The majority of the 300+ sites are full hook-up and pull-through. Resort has condos, lake houses, bunk houses for large groups and full kitchen motel units, fully appointed. Add a 2,000 square foot country store and the best recreation program in Alabama, and you have a Coast to Coast jewel.  |

There are a few attractions in the area, including the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Russell Cave National Monument in Bridgeport, Desoto State Park, Little River Canyon and the Alabama Band Museum located in Fort Payne. The Anniston Museum of Natural History is in Anniston. All of these attractions are about an hour or more from Mountain Lakes.
