RV Life from a dog's perspective

After reading the posts from our friend Makena Anderson, we decided it was time to write a blog about our perspective on RV life.  We sit in the trailer all day while Mom & Dad are at work - they come home at lunch and we are very glad to have them come and see us. It does not take them very long to eat lunch and then they are back to work again.  It seems like forever before they come home and we are very, very glad to see them. This was the year they worked at Yogi Bear Jellystone in Waller, Texas. We had a real nice field where Mom let us loose so we could get our daily running exercise.

The best part of our day are our morning and evening walks.  Mom gets up real early - even before the sun comes up - to take us out to walk in our favorite field where we hunt for critters.

We run back and forth and then get into the brush to look for the critters.  Sometimes we even catch one, but Mom does not let us eat it.

One of the critters that are all around us are the Texas Pocket Gophers.  They burrow right below the surface of the ground and push up all this dirt as they go from one location to another. We went to visit Josh & Karen last week and when we came home the gophers had moved into the area right in front of our trailer.  We had lots of fun digging out their trails trying to find them, but had no luck. Lucy likes to stalk them and stays real still waiting for them to appear.

After running in the field we get to walk around the campground, around horseshoe lake and then back to the RV, which is when we get our breakfast or dinner.
