Mountain Walk, Tremont Outdoor Resort, Townsend, Tennessee

Up the mountain behind the campground where I walk the dogs. Lots of clouds this morning covering the Smoky Mountains. This is also where the Mountain Laurel is blooming. This afternoon the clouds have gone and the sun is out with temps into the 80s.

I walk the girls every morning up the switchback and boy is that ever getting tiring. They pull me up the first leg and then I let them go and have to truck the rest on my own. I saw these clouds the other morning on our way down and had to take a picture of them. How beautiful they are. I remember my friend Karen and I used to lay on a hill and stare at the clouds imagining things in them - animals, etc. I still stare up at the clouds and think about those times - what wonderful memories.
